Harvest Festival at Ivy Lane School

Since the beginning of term parents have been generously donating items for the Salvation Army Food Bank which is where Ivy Lane School's Harvest Festival donations are taken every year.

On Friday 21st September Ivy Lane School had their annual Harvest Festival Assembly.

Since the beginning of term parents have been generously donating items for the Salvation Army Food Bank which is where our Harvest Festival donations are taken every year.

The children on the School Council delivered all the donations that had been sent in for Harvest Festival to the Salvation Army last Friday. The Salvation Army volunteers were extremely grateful for all the fabulous food items donated. The children all behaved very well and enjoyed a cup of juice and some biscuits and fruit before heading back to school.

Lucca P from Byars Class said “The Salvation Army trip was fun because we got to sort the food and then we had biscuits, grapes and squash. The lady then took us all into another room to show us where all the donations were kept and how they were given out”.
