Pickwick Learning Teaching School Alliance

Pickwick Learning Teaching School Alliance (PLTSA) is a DfE designated group of schools, leaders and partners committed to providing support and sharing best practice in education and beyond.  It uses the collective expertise and vision shared with its 65+ members to ensure every child, individual and school in the partnership reaches their goals.

Pickwick Learning Teaching School Alliance believes that schools are stronger when they work together.  Partnership working and collaboration is the best way to continually develop and improve teaching and learning for children, teachers and the communities in which we live and work.

Teaching Schools are responsible for training new teachers, providing high-quality evidence-informed professional development and brokering school improvement work.

The work of Pickwick Academy Trust and the Teaching School are aligned to ensure that schools in the Trust and beyond can access the best quality CPD and school improvement services.  Examples of this include: all Trust schools are members of the Teaching School's school improvement groups; all Trust schools take part in developmental peer review; middle and emerging leaders benefit from free training and support.

Pickwick Learning TSA's aims are simple:
to improve standards and life experiences for all pupils and adults within the alliance and beyond.
