Corsham Primary School celebrates World Book Day
Just before the return to school on 8 March, Corsham Primary School celebrated World Book Day, with staff dressing up as their favourite book characters. The school welcomed the well-known author, Joffre White to school for a remote Q&A session with Key Stage 2 children.
During March the school also held its first Virtual Book Fair with “Books for Bugs” – over 1,000 popular children’s books were available for purchase. Virtual £1 book tokens were distributed to all parents for use when buying books and we are hoping that everyone visited The Corsham Bookshop and chose something new to read!
