Dragon eggs found at Queen's Crescent School!
For this week's 'Wild Wednesday' in Year 3, linked to our 'How to train a dragon' topic, the children were tasked with decorating a number of dragon eggs which Mr Smith had stumbled across on his morning dog walk. The 'dragonling' within each egg would take on the patterns and colours used on their shell when they hatched.
In order to keep each egg safe and protected, the children then made nests within the school grounds. These were hidden in all sorts of places and disguised with many types of different natural camouflage.
The following day, the children then continued to write their Viking diary, explaining about their discovery, before composing a Kennings poem about their dragon.
