The yearly Year 6 Gurdwara (Sikh temple) visit, to support their learning about Sikhism in RE, was once again a huge success!
The children enjoyed finding out about the history of Sikhism and the main core beliefs of the faith.
They asked fantastic, relevant questions and enjoyed the opportunity to experience the calm and reflective atmosphere of the Gurwara.
As always, the children enjoyed eating the homemade savouries: this year it was potato pakoras; biscuits; and a sweet, all consumed in the Langar (community kitchen).
