After weeks of rehearsals and hard-work, Year 5 & 6 performed the 1920s themed production, ‘Mystery at Magpie Manor’, to a full hall of parents, siblings and other family members at Queen’s Crescent School. The musical was full of suspense, humour and dancing with some twists and turns along the way; it was thoroughly enjoyed by all the audience members, who enthusiastically showed their appreciation at the end of the encore.
The entire cast and crew (lights, props & computer) were excellent throughout, with some stand-out performances by Alice S, William M, Ellena B & Evie B as Scribble & Blot; Iestyn B & Matthew B as Lord Pica and Ruby S & Isobel H as Agatha Christie. Not forgetting the talented solo singing performance by Emilia P as Rupert. It was a great success and the Year 5s are already looking forward to next year’s production.
